Next stop: Appalachian Trail Boardwalk over the Swamp River in Pawling, NY.

A new 1,600-foot, oak-decked boardwalk (photo inset into the sign) and 34 -ft bridge over the Swamp River is the culmination of two and a half years of work contributed by over 75 volunteers. The bridge and volunteers will be celebrated on July 1 with official ceremony followed by hikes led by Trail Conference member group Mid-Hudson Adirondack Mountain Club. Find details on our website.
