No Mistaking the Four Birds Trail Blazes in the Farny Highlands

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAJean Fletcher, maintainer of the Four Birds Trail in New Jersey’s Farny Highlands since at least 1998, displays a metal trail marker of her own design. Originally, Jean produced these one at a time, but they didn’t weather well, so the Central North Jersey Trails Committee decided to have these produced by Voss Signs. The blazes will be placed at important Four Birds Trail junctions throughout the Farny Highlands. We all join Bob Jonas & Estelle Anderson, co-chairs of the CNJ Trails Committee, in saying, “Thanks, Jean.”
