The West Mountain shelter in Harriman State Park is currently closed for repairs.

The park is in the process of restoring the shelter, with roof replacement starting yesterday (Sept. 22). The shelter will be closed through Nov. 2 to allow for completion of the project.

The trail is still open. For a detailed description of the West Mountain Loop hike from Seven Lakes Drive, click here.
